"It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right). "What a super hotel. I was on a business trip so this was a perfect place to stay. Extremely friendly welcome, incredibly comfortable room, bed was so comfortable. We were able to have a very delicious supper which is great after a long day of travelling. Very clean and delicious breakfast - only one complaint.... the coffee at breakfast was very weak! A super hotel! Hight recommend! "

"We were staying for a wedding nearby. We arrived Friday eve. Our roo m was claen , warm and comfortable. Plenty of milk for tea and coffee. Good quality towels. We had dinner in the pub. Gorgeous. Fire was on and a few local dog walkers popped in. Graet food quality. Following morning we had breakfast - chef was Martin. So friendly and chatty. We were only breakfast party, so fely very bespoke. Great breakfast - quality bread and quality service. A little gem. Highly recommended....

"Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. The choice is excellent and includes veggie/vegan options. Great coffee. The room was lovely and had everything needed for my stay - hairdryer,...

"Great property in central location. Nick was readily available and helpful during our stay, the studio apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped (not surprising as Nick was always was around with his cleaning equipment). Communication from Hanif prior to check was prompt and responsive. I would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend it to others."

The pub & restaurant have an amazing wine selection, a superb selection of excellent beers from Lacons and fabulous food.
