"This was my second time at Best Western. First experience was very pleasant. But second time, not so much. Avoid room Nº1 at all cost, as it is very noisy, because so close to reception. People constantly passing by and door to reception slamming."

"What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again."

I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "
