"This is truly an exceptional hotel. Helpful and friendly staff, roomy room, super bathroom. The renovations were luxuriously done for an 1800s building. Breakfast was superb. Overall, very Danish and likeable. My only issue was there is no AC. Denmark experienced a heat wave and its full summer. Thankfully it cooled at night and open windows helped."

"The assigned room was tiny, just very, very small even by European standards. During a four night stay, the room was not serviced. We assume that they are very short on staff."

The buffet breakfast had an array of choice and was well prepared and satisfying! The location was superb, very close to Tivoli Gardens and the Glyptotek, and very close to Central train station and all public transit! I would not hesitate to stay at Locke again!"

"I love this boutique hotel group and would stay with them again in a heartbeat. This hotel recently opened and everything is lovely. The rooms are so comfortable, great bed and soft sheets, blackout blinds. We slept really well. Staff are very kind and helpful, definitely ask for recommendations in the area and they are happy to offer suggestions. Breakfast is excellent."

"I did not expect to have a room in what used to be an attic, this was not explained or shown in the time of choosing a room, there was no air conditioning, we had the noice of the street, and it was unbearable, the room had o height in one side for 8’ and about five in the window side, we have to bend over to reach the other side of the bad, this was not for me"

"The rooms in the hotel don’t have air conditioning so the room we stayed in was on the top and it was warm in this hot weather. Staff was very helpful and the location is excellent; it is close to a market and Rosenborg and botanical garden. In the city people bike everywhere and uber is available as well."

"Nice but basic hotel. No proper lock on the door, which I did not like, as a lone female traveller it meant a barely slept. The reception on 7th floor is very nice, the ground floor lobby is not. I was pleased it was only for one night. I would have had to have gone elsewhere if it was for a longer trip."

"The Copenhagen Strand is a 10/10! Centrally located and in a very walkable part of Copenhagen. Our breakfast was included and had a huge selection of breakfast foods to start the day off right. The hotel was quiet and had a good view of the main canal. The most important factor though, for us, was as the staff. They were super helpful, friendly, and polite. We felt so welcome and valued as guests!"

"Spacious accommodations with a kitchen and separate area with bed. It was in a good location and was clean and welcoming. There was laundry available in a separate area downstairs from the courtyard. This was easy to use but busy. Wifi worked well. Couple things to note though: Pull out couch is not comfortable and extra linens were not readily available so no extra duvet covers or pillow cases were stocked until after we made the request. There are no elevators. So if you have anything...

"Perfect location, and my extra large room was great for doing some work while on the trip. Clean and bright, and just steps to the the most happening parts of Copenhagen. And an easy (or cycle) walk to most of the museums, palaces, gardens, restaurants and cafes. Just note that some of the room decor may not be appropriate for kids (the window drapes in my room were not)."
