"I really liked the place and the service was great! The room is spacious and clean. If you do want to go to Glasgow city more with only public transit, it's a bit far away but if you have a car that doesnt matter as much. "

"Lovely little hotel, great host, very friendly, clean and comfortable room, we chose this hotel because it was Pet Friendly and it didn’t disappoint, the only negative is no evening meals, but you can drive into Lanark 4 miles away where there’s a great choice, there’s also a small supermarket opposite. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again"

"The Hotel is in a wonderful location in a World Heritage Site .Visiting the old mills and homes of the cotton workers and reading about Robert Owen’s vision so interesting and then a beautiful woodland walk upto the Falls of Clyde . A great place for a two or three night break on your journey up to Scotland. Accessible by train and short bus/ taxi ride "

"Firstly the car park nearly ripped the bottom of my car out. Such deep unavoidable potholes need sorting ! The room was basic but clean with the biggest tv ! The bathroom was spotless. Horrible small cups with saucers, I prefer mugs. The beds were ok, perhaps better mattress toppers would give a more comfortable sleep. The rooms are slightly overpriced in my opinion. Would I go back, No. the staff I saw and spoke to were very friendly. £10 for my dog to share the room was fair. "

"All was excellent except for the restaurant. Food was good but took forever. The bartender was kind enough to comp us a couple of drinks after we politely enquired about the delay. 8 minute walk to the airport for an early flight. You can't beat that."
