"The African American girl at the front desk with long braids didn’t seem happy to be there . Had a little bit of an attitude when I checked in. However the girl who checked me out was much more pleasant . Bed was comfortable and pillowed were as well. Tv lost signal a few times . Had a goo night sleep with it being quiet . Ac seemed to struggle. Beach is right across from the though so it’s kinda worth of it ."

Upon arrival I was given just my checking card and it had two different room numbers written on the card when I asked which one was to clarify the hotel manager looked at me not at his head and pointed a direction I said okay so is this number and he just nodded his head and pointed again. "A great historic Bed and Breakfast spot in beautiful peaceful St Mary's. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. The Coffee pot was ready to turn on for early risers. Red and chilled white wine available in the parlor. Evening treats set out for guests to have in the evening. Maerja and her staff were happy to help make reservations for the Cumberland Ferry. Everything was within walking distance. Hotel staff was very informative. This is a great place away from Jacksonville traffic. Beautiful...

"There are no rooms that are accessible for handicapped people. The stairs have a handrail on only one side with no elevator and no ground floor rooms. When I asked about how I would be able to get my bags and myself upstairs to my room, the desk clerk commented rather snidely that I should look for a different hotel. Not the slightest sign of sympathy or offer of assistance. The hotel is over 100 years old and it shows its age… not in a good way."
