"Very clean and well appointed with a LOT of extras that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Close to excellent hiking trails. It was a big plus that pets were welcomed as we brought our 2 beagles who had a great time too!"

"Such a lovely stay!I had the best time at the Whimsical Creekside Cabin. The place is super cozy and peaceful—just what I needed to unwind. The sound of the creek, the comfy setup, and all the little thoughtful touches made it feel really special. It was clean, charming, and felt like a little hidden gem in nature."

"This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent"

"My husband and I rented this beautiful serene house as a quite get away for our 53rd anniversary. It was all anyone could ask for and more. We were even surprised to find a dozen red roses and a card from the owner wishing us a happy anniversary. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding trees and wildlife. There was even a resident deer that bedded down under the front porch everyday. "Quiet, Clean and fun stay with a creek to explore at your own front door. We were able to sit and watch deer from the front porch. "

"This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes."

"My family and I took a trip up from Florida while I had some work in the area, and we were hoping for a relaxing place to stay that was still close to everything and this was absolutely perfect! The views were beautiful, the open space was great for the kids to run and play and we were just minutes from hiking, swimming, great food and downtown. "What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!"

"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "
