"This was our second stay at Heron’s Hideway. The location is wonderful on a peaceful, beautiful lake and yet close to Florence a charming town with good shopping and many great restaurants. "Enjoyed it all right on the beach.. walking forever with the dog and friend at low tide just out the front door. Fabulous kitchen with a view. Jacuzzi tub in one bathroom, and awesome master bathroom with a view.Then to top it off a rooftop hot tub to star gaze while soaking.There was a little issue at check in and management responded immediately and took care of us so well… everything was perfect"

"We had a wonderful stay here! The cottage is comfortable and cozy with a nicely redone kitchen and bathroom. The location is amazing: close to stores and restaurants in Yachats and right on the 804 trail. Cape Perpetua is only a very short drive away. And, as the pictures show, the views are outstanding! We hope to stay here again!"

"We had a great time staying in this cabin. Made some good memories with fam and friends. Waking up to the fresh salty ocean smell, hearing the soothing waves, watching sunset in the nice windy yet cool weather. Our dogs enjoyed the sandy beach and the cabin too! The cabin/house itself is cozy and has everything a traveler needs. It is definitely a little rustic and has small leaks under the bathroom sink, but overall didn’t hinder the quality of our stay. "
