"Everything was perfect from the cleanliness down to the consideration of us as guests: heater on upon arrival, plenty of food to get us through to the next day .. croissants, breakfast cereals, wine! chocolates. The bedding was super comfy and heating in all rooms. Kerry was perfect as host xhecking that we were OK and passing on her contact details. Even the Keysafe worked first time!!!! Will definitely be back"

""Our stay at the Cute Cottage in Newstead was absolutely wonderful! From the warm and welcoming staff to the immaculate and thoughtfully designed rooms, every detail was perfect. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The amenities exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt like we were in a home away from home. We can't recommend Neal's cottage highly enough and look forward to returning in the future!""

"The cottage and surrounds were inviting and peaceful. Bed linen was beautiful, though we did find the mattresses too firm for us. Everything we needed was supplied and the fireplace kept the cottage cosy and warm. We also enjoyed the bookcase filled with an interesting mix of books and games, as well as the hammock and a fire by the dam to take in the beautiful starry sky. Elbert was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"A gorgeous cottage , with everything we needed for a short stay whilst visiting the area , highly recommended it for anyone who wishes to visit Maldon and surrounding areas , couldn’t have asked for more , hope to return again in the future. "

"I didn’t get to stay here as I wasn’t given the keypad passcode to get the keys to be let in. I called and called till the phone rang before I hung up! NO COMMUNICATION WHAT SO EVER AND WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! "
