"We enjoyed our stay - all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Breakfast was served right on time and quite a variety of food was available 24 hours. A very comfortable historic feel!"

"Bathrooms had very limited number (1) towel bars to hang towels and washcloths after use. Tub faucet dripped constantly despite continuous efforts to shut it off. The reading lights above the beds were broken or didn't work. Beds were firm and comfortable however. Very limited dining at the hotel. However the surrounding area had amble dining within a block or two."

"This motel is a super cute old style motor hotel. Recently renovated and clean. We couldn't figure out how to get the a/c to work, but with the windows open, the breeze was enough to keep the room at a comfy temp. Would stay here again."

"I love the place! The staff were really friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and modern, and it was pretty quiet! My only problem was parking but it is SF and we knew it was going to be difficult. However, they did have a parking garage not too far and were cheap. Plenty of food and drinks near by as well! Definitely would come back and recommend coming here! "

"Unbelievable value! This San Francisco hotel was impeccably clean, on par with a 5-star experience, yet the price was even lower than what I paid 15 years ago. Its prime location, just 5 minutes from Union Square and a short 15-20 minute walk to everything else, makes it highly recommended."
