"The room was lovely and cozy warm when we arrived. The service team followed through with our request for one room on the ground level to accommodate my mother who has difficulty walking up stairs AND placed a roll away bed in the second room. The service and food were top rated. Will come back again. Thank you! "

"We stayed just the 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and full of character. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The breakfast was also lovely with great views. In all we couldn’t fault the place and will definitely stay again when in the area."

"Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "

"Pictures do not do this gem of a place justice. Check in was a breeze, the pub is quirky, but the accommodation was fantastic, quiet, comfortable and clean....all wrapped up in a 300 year old stone building. Such a beautiful spot, probably our fave and would love to return."
