"My husband and I stayed here this past weekend. Parking could not be any easier, but pulling up to the outside we weren't sure what we were walking into. But once we walked in everything seemed brand new and super clean. The space is conveniently laid out and it was perfect! The neighborhood was very quiet. "The property was covered in ants small and way over priced for what the house was. Not a very cozy place to stay even kinda creepy. The owner wouldn’t even respond back to having trouble with ants. Very dissatisfied. "

"If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle."

"We had a wonderful stay at Washington Street Quarters! It was well-appointed, but we especially loved the "small town" character! We were passing through, but this made our stay so much more interesting than a standard hotel room!"

"We loved our stay in the cabin! The unique details, charm and beautiful surroundings made this the perfect vacation! The best part of this rental however was our host Amy and her fantastic family! Amy was attentive, gracious and went out of her way to make us feel welcome as did her family! We will definitely stay here again in future! "

"My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! "

"I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. "

"Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant! "

"I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin! The yard was cut and easy to walk my dogs in! There is a fire pit and grill, we didnt use them because my one dog is older and gets cold easily. The location is superb! "Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...
