"This was an amazing place to stay. For one the historical factor and the preservation of the home is unique and beautiful. It is in a great location and within walking distance to many museums and the italian district with other food options close by as well. The grounds are well kept. There is parking on site so that is a plus. Small bar and an outdoor patio area which is secluded and pleasantly quiet. The breakfast was way more than just your average continental breakfast and well prepared....

"The facility is in need of major renovation. All carpets, washrooms, all sheets and blankets need to be changed. Smoking should not be allowed. We found cigarette butts under the mattress. HELP!"

"There was a very loud fan running in the bathroom that was so loud, it kept us up all night. Even with the door closed it was obnoxiously loud."

"Absolutely dirty. Nothing was cleaned. The bathroom was the worst. Mirror wasn't even clean. Floors squished out water because the fan didn't work. Since the exhaust fan didnt work there was a slimy film of dirt running down the walls as well. Mold growing on ceiling leaving me super sick. Holes in. The walls and doors. The bathroom window was taped together. The room smelled like moldy cigarette smoke. Bedding was dirty with burn holes. We went and got new blankets and sheets and pillows...

"The restaurant food was very good. Staff was pleasant. Bed was comfy. Only issues were that the freezer compartment of the fridge had clearly not been defrosted for ages and the thermostat cover was broken. Would mostly recommend and would stay here again."

Especially want to give a shout out to Ryan from the restaurant and Floyd who graciously helped us with our bags and kept them safe until our room was available. Floyd gave us great advice on sight seeing in the area and history of the city. Ryan was personable and had great energy.
