"Long, slow line at check in. The associate said I had lounge access and handed me a wooden lounge “key.” The outside part of the lounge around the Godzilla head was closed my entire stay. There is no door to the open part of the lounge which is basically a fenced off part of the lobby. I showed my “key” to the man at the lounge door who sat me. "This is a business hotel, so certain amenities, like on-site gym and spa are not available. It is centrally located, clean and comfortable, so it satisfied my needs for this trip. Room and bathroom are small but this is to be expected, however, it’s still a very comfortable base in Shinjuku. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast selections. Just note that there are a number of Apa hotels within blocks of each other so, just be mindful of that when you arrive to make check in easier."
