"Wonderful Stay – Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Service The hotel is beautiful with stunning views and nice, comfortable rooms. The staff were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s conveniently located just 5 minutes from the beach and about 1.5 hours from San José airport. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again in the future."

"My family stayed at Alma Del Pacífico for four nights during the “rainy season” after driving from our stay in La Fortuna. We didn’t mind the late day rain at all. We were able to get all the daily activities in before it started. The beach is as everyone has described, flat and walkable. We were able to swim with the waves, even our seven year old. Perfect for surfing, and our oldest took the opportunity with Brett’s Boards. There are more sand dollars than we have ever seen! Breakfast options...

"Wonderful beachfront hotel. Tranquil and relaxing. Good restaurant for breakfast and the evening and if you have a car there are many roadside restaurants and bars close by. We did have a slight hiccough in that on arrival for a one week stay, we found out that our last night was a double booking. However, thr hotel put us up for that last night at a very nice closeby hotel that they also owned. Not ideal, of course, but the hotel staff handled the whole thing very professionally and...

"The property is perfectly manicured, pool is pristine. Check in and bar staff were very friendly. Oscar at the bar was lots of fun. Arrived in the pouring rain, staff met me in the parking lot with an umbrella, nice touch!"

"We had a second room floor on the end with a beautiful view of beach. Great to listen to rush of beach water all times. Meals here are wonderful. If coming be sure to get room not on end as the wifi is not always good--closer to center of hotel area I hear much better. We had a sloth and baby in nearby tree. We'll be coming back here."

"The people who work here are wonderful and helpful. Today as I was leaving, a workman there helped me by taking my walker down two treacherous steps and loading my junk in the rental car. The two steep steps leading into the unit need a ramp that can be put over the steps for walkers or wheelchairs. This is true for the steps to the pool, as well. The staff was wonderful and the hospitality was excellent… this was a family oriented environment the owner of the entire property kept in contact with me as well.
