"not good management"

"Very cool and clean place"

"We got to the venue much later than we had planned, but it was a comfortable night in a nice hotel with an excellent breakfast."

"Lovely little hotel. Got a parking space straight away, a warm welcome, and the room was lovely and clean. Nice shower with lovely smelling body wash. Breakfast is available for an extra charge and there's a bar downstairs which serves evening meals. If all rooms had slow closing doors, I'd give an extra star. Was kept awake because of late night arrivers slamming doors. Be aware that the car park is open to anyone therefore spaces aren't guaranteed. Would stay in an IBIS again."

"Better to enjoy your coffee there rather than get it to go. The takeaway cups are so small that you end up throwing away half your coffee. They should offer larger takeaway cups to avoid this waste."

"The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. It is near the Excel Centre and London City AirPort."

"Convenient location for my business travel"

"Decent location. Easy car parking. The good points were breakfast. And a comfy bed. The negatives were no lift, and lots of steep stairs. The shower was very complicated to operate and took ages to reach a decent temperature and the control of the temperature was very stiff. No water provided. All in all bit run down."

"What was not expected was presented at check-in online with a choice of either non refundable £40 deposit or refundable £300 deposit!. Gambled on refundable deposit and did get it a week later. For only 1 night!"

"Room is warm and comfortable enough and shower is good however TV barely worked as it was pixelating all the time and the DJ until 11pm is definitely not advertised on Expedia as we would not have booked knowing this was happening ( it's not advertised on hotel website either) breakfast is ok although we were not a fan of the sausages. All in all it was a disappointment"

"There are two elevators to get into the hotel - one was broken for 2 out of 3 days of our stay. There technically are stairs too but when we asked they were locked. Hotel itself is beautiful, especially having a room on the river side. However we stayed during the comiccon weekend and felt judged?? The service was poor, no enthusiasm to do anything - at one point we had a dinner at the bar and asked for a box to take our leftover pizza with us. We were told thats not an option and the guy...

"Friendly welcome and lovely room. Lots of cosmetic work being done. The continental breakfast didn't really exist - I spotted some cornflakes but no milk. And some tea bags but no kettle."
