"Rooms are clean, buffet breakfast great-they have a huge selection, eggs made to order, coffee machine that makes latte! Big front reception area, they xray all luggages. They have an on site travel/tours company & booked our trips on the spot for the next day with no issues. Restaurant was just ok but the bar was great. Restaurants & shops near within walking distance. Pool closes at sunset."

"The property was outstanding! Very tranquil and lush. We enjoyed exploring every bit of the property. The hotel staff were all attentive and respectful. The hotel arranged a local guide, named Hamatto who was just excellent. He is an Egyptologist and gave us so much back story of ancient Egypt. We loved our tours with him!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Achti Resort—easily the best hotel of our entire trip to Egypt. "This is a convenient hotel with a short walk to the river ferries and easy pick up for visiting West bank sites. Lots of food options nearby and a beautiful roof top with 360 views of downtown Luxor and the nearby mountains. Highly recommend for fair price. "

"Wonderful hotel for our family with three daughters! Our room was huge and very nice. The owner is terrific and we felt like we were at a home away from home while there. They offer a lot of tour options as well, making it very convenient. The area is quiet and safe. A nice rooftop breakfast with great views of the mountains and hot air balloons each morning. If we are ever back in Luxor we will definitely stay here again. "
