"A great new hotel for those visiting UVA. While not in the heart of the Corner, it’s still close to Grounds. The Perch, the rooftop bar, was by far our favorite! "

Breakfast staff polite and warm, front desk staff is all business (front desk won't proactively tell you that there is no wifi password or what the breakfast hours are, but look at the tablet that is set up at the front desk and it will have this info)."

"The halls smelled either like pee (first floor) or musky cigarettes(second floor). The room wasn’t very clean, dirt on the window sill, stains on the curtains. Everything seemed to be falling apart like the faucet handle coming off and the drain in the shower. They do not clean your room like you would typically expect. We left the room (without the DND sign) one morning (roughly 8am), returned around 4pm and it wasn’t cleaned so we called and asked if they could come by today and we were...

"Room was great - nicely renovated. Lovely lounge / restaurant. Front desk peeps very helpful. BIGGEST DRAWBACK - noise from highway was unreal. We heard every truck shift and racing engine. Literally kept us up and we're not light sleepers. Breakfast didn't start til 7:30, and menu offered small selection. "

"This is probably the worst experience I have with a Marriott hotel (I stay in Marriott mostly since I am an owner). This place is very old, especially inside the room. Tub was repainted but paint has faded and so color looked uneven. The bed was awful, didn’t feel supported at all. Breakfast was very mid. This whole place needs updating!"

"Very clean place what we always expect from Hilton. The pool and hot tub is a little small but is still an extra thing to do. Our bed was not the best and needs to be replaced. It was saggy and ripped on the bottom. Great location for a quiet stay. Great walking trail around the pond. Not a lot of restaurant choices within walking distance. Simple restaurant menu at the hotel. All in all a great place and that is why I gave it a 5 star."
