"The property and staff were fantastic! The limited rooms and the spacious property. Made you feel like you had the villa to yourself. The staff were attentive and all wonderful. The multiple areas to grab food and drinks made it feel like you were in a different property. The boat ride they arrange was the cherry on top. Spectacular. If you have a chance, stay in the Varenna room. A perfect way to get your Lake Como experience on. Overall, one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at. "

"John & I really enjoyed our stay in your hotel. It was very easy to find & having the ferry terminal directly over the road made it very handy for day trips. We particularly enjoyed the food. "Such a wonderful experience at Aurora. From the staff to the service! so lovely to go right out our door & spend the day on the lake, dock & step right into a restaurant that served great food & drinks! The convenience was amazing, loved the local vibe. Absolutely worth every moment, so much so we stayed an extra night. Hope to come back here again some day. Thank you! Wonderful time! "

"Great lake view. Very helpful staff. Superb location near Villa Carlotta and the mid-lake pier. The food at the restaurant was excellent.The only down-side was that on checking out at 6 am we had to use the emergency exit."

"We had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Varenna is a great little town. If you stay for a week definitely plan some day trips to surrounding areas via ferry or boat taxi. The rooms were clean and staff were very accommodating and kind. Willing to help with anything we needed (airport transfer, dinner reservations, spa, boat routes). We had a junior suite with a great view of the lake. There are some beautiful swans that live on the lake and came by the beach at the front of the hotel...

"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! "
