"The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay."

"Virtual staff was super helpful and pretty responsive to all my questions and concerns. A lot to do in the area and less than a 20 minute drive anywhere. Only thing is if you’re a light sleeper bring an eye masks, ear plugs and your own blanket. Love the natural lighting the rooms get but if you’re wanting to sleep in there aren’t any black out curtains and walls are very thin, you can hear everything and the blankets that are provided are pretty itchy and thin. "Stayed here years ago so was surprised at how run down the area has become. We were there on July 4th so there is no surprise that there was mayhem all night but the pillow cases smelled like smoke and the mattress was toooooo soft, there is no way I could have slept on it a 2nd night. The staff were great however"

"Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down...

"The rooms were clean. This hotel thought through how many outlets people typically need and it was refreshing. I don't have to bring my own power strip. The hotel is located in an ideal place, right off the freeway but just outside the crowded downtown area."
