"What a gem this place is! We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room unexpectedly upon arrival and then were walked right to our room and given lots of good suggestions about nearby spots to get food. The best part is that Beacon’s beach is just a few blocks away! "

A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. I stayed in Sweet Bay, which had nice high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen and a large soaking tub. All of the touches were so well thought out. "I have stayed all over Southern California and this location and vibe can’t be beat! Very few kids stay here it is more for adults but my 18 year old daughter and I had the perfect time. The staff is great and very accommodating. For sure take a chance on this one . Tucked between Carlsbad and Encinitas. "

"We were placed in a room that should have been out of service for maintenance. The bathroom door was only attached by two hinges, there was hair on the bathroom wall, and a tile was missing. The TV was also not connected to the internet and could not be used. When we contacted the front desk, we were told these were known maintenance issues and that maintenance would not be available until Tuesday, even though we checked in on Sunday. We chose to stay in the room only because we were traveling...

"There were several restaurants, a wonderful grocery store, and of course the beach were all within walking distance. The staff were extraordinarily attentive. The muffins for breakfast were dry on one day and amazing on the next. The room didn't have any hand or body lotion like I'm used to seeing in most hotels, but the proximity to the ocean made it less of a necessity. "
