"The view was beautiful. There was a strong sewer smell in the shower that was almost unbearable. We loved Luzern and the property is located in an excellent area of the city. Just be prepared for it to be extremely hot (no AC) but that’s common for Europe. The directions said to access the property for the back side but there is an entrance from the lake side as well"

"Our problems began at check-in. There was no staff available to assist us, and we were left running from pillar to post trying to find parking even though they charged 35 chf per night for parking. "The property was very well stocked: pots, pans, cutlery, wall plug adapter, umbrellas, toothbrushes, toothpaste and more. The only downside is that the floors do creak, so you hear the people above you. With that said, everyone seems to adhere to the 10pm quiet time so it was not much of a problem. I did not see a parking space so if you’re renting a car I would look further into that. Aside from that, no issues. Very close to the train station for transportation. "

"In general the premises were in good clean condition. In a nice area near the river and train, bus station. We don't recommend it for the summer period because it has no AC and no window nets. The most important issue for us was that the bed was too small for two adults 140x180 and the mattress was very bad quality. As a result, our feet hung off the bed, we could not sleep during our four-night stay, and our bodies ached every morning."

"There was a suite flat above a restaurant, and the smell of food could be felt throughout the unit and was annoying. During the day, the suite was like a steam sauna because it was all windows and above the roof. Despite two small air conditioners and a fan, it was unbearable. However, the view from the room was incredibly beautiful and tempting. There was no shampoo and the unit was full of insects coming from the lake because there was no fan and you had to keep the window open all the time....

"The appartment was too small for three people. Elevator was not working, nobody came to fix it.
