Beautiful home

The home was as beautiful as described and the setting was perfect for our family of six adults and five young children. The furnishings throughout the house were comfortable and in great shape. Covered porch and outdoor fireplace were a treat we enjoyed almost every night. Well located between Sister Bay and Ellison Bay.Highly recommend!

Ellison Bay VRBO

We came back to Door County for the 4th of July and spent several days enjoying the sites. The house was fantastic. Plenty of space for all of us and the outdoor space is amazing. No doubt we will be back.

A perfect stay

We had a very comfortable stay for our large family. We loved spending time on the deck. The fact that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had a king bed was a huge plus. Ed was very communicative and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Amazing memories

We were so happy to stay in this immaculate, huge, beautiful home! We all wanted to extend our stay. Our host, Ed, was so friendly and accomodating. We had everything we could ever need and would stay again in the future in a heart beat!

The house was very well kept and very clean. It felt more like a luxury hotel (in a good way). The host was very accessible and responsive to the few questions we had. We were very happy with the choice to stay here.

Luxury home in the woods

Ed was so easy to work with and was super communicative. The house and the grounds are beautiful; The outdoor patio makes you feel like you’re in a luxurious treehouse. The house was spotless and has everything you need. It is so spacious, everyone had their privacy. Very hard to leave!

Perfect for girls weekend

Wonderful home. The host was excellent at communicating with us when we had questions. The house had a stocked kitchen. Plenty of paper products. All the amenities we could ask for. Good location for exploring Door County.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

Our stay was fabulous. The house is beautiful, clean and plenty big. The pictures don't do it justice. The house provided so many amenities - garage access, laundry usage (detergent available), stocked kitchen, games, bedroom necessities, etc. The host was easily accessible and quick to reply. The home is in a great location and close to Door County's local attractions. Stay here, you won't be disappointed. We hope to back real soon.

Family Holiday Weekend

We really enjoyed staying for Labor Day weekend, the home was beautiful! Plenty of room for everyone to hang out, the outdoor space was wonderful, we got to enjoy having a nice fire and did use the grilling area too. Bedrooms were all good sizes, bonus room with pool table worked out well for another sleeping room, master was huge and private. Kitchen had most everything we needed, double ovens and large pantry. Cute butler pantry and huge dining room. Communication with owner was great, he was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Girl’s weekend at Ellison Bays

We had a great time in this large, lovely home. Pictures of the place were “spot on.” There were 7 of us high school friends. It was comfortable, clean and well stocked. The log fireplace in the porch was a great addition. We had a fire every night which was lovely and so much fun! Our host, Ed gave us all the information we needed and responded quickly to our questions. It was a wonderful weekend! I highly recommend Ed’s home and would book it again with family and/or friends.

A Gem

The house is a wonderful gathering space nestled in the woods. Very quiet and private with a large kitchen table that we found so inviting. The treasure for our family of 7 was the outdoor space in the back where we would congregate every night! It was so fun, clean and plenty of space. Also, Door County is a blast!! Highly recommend👍

House was perfect for my family. The kitchen and grill area had everything we needed, very well-stocked. House is immaculately clean, spacious, and ideally located for us. Kids love the bunk beds! And the back deck can’t be beat. Ed’s a great host. So thankful this house was available, it was the perfect backdrop for memories made with little ones.

Wooded Gem

This wooded luxury retreat in Ellison Bay was perfect for our extended family's vacation. This property's description and photos are spot on. The owner's suite on the main level is stunning with access to the main deck, walk-in closets, and immense grand bathroom. "Suite" is definitely the correct description. The three second floor bedrooms are all nicely spread out. No issues with sound even with 2 babies under 9 months old in the group. The bathrooms were: Two en-suite bathrooms, one full bathroom shared by two of the 2nd floor bedrooms, and two half baths. Plenty to go around! We loved the surround deck with fire pit (wood provided), and never had the chance to use the large grill (maybe next time). Beautiful views of the forrest from the back deck. Trees galore. Very private. Cooking was a breeze with all the immensities provided, including spices and both a coffee maker AND a Keurig (not to mention coffee pods & coffee... EVEN single use creamers). We cooked many meals, and even made organic baby food in the Ninja blender! I can't say enough good things about this property. Definitely the best we stayed at in terms of amenities. Ed's team has certainly thought of everything to make your stay perfect and want for nothing. When you finally pack up and leave down the long winding driveway, you can't help but wish you just had just a couple more days. Thanks Ed! Great place, great communication. We will be back. The group loved it.

Spacious, comfortable and nicely designed home in a quiet setting

A simple yet extremely elegant, spacious home in the middle of a forest of trees. Ed's home is nicely designed, inside and out with a ton of thought put towards amenities, cleanliness and space planning. The home is surrounded by trees and the landscaping around it is beautiful. The outside patio seats 8+ comfortably around a firepit. The interior is perfectly arranged to be comfortable but not overdone. All of the rooms are extremely clean with soft goods being the perfect fit.

Great Property

Enjoyed the spacious surroundings for the family. Nice because everyone had their own private areas, including beds and bathrooms. Also LOVED the out door fireplace!!!! What a great family retreat!

The property is wonderful. Pictures accurately show the current status of house. Plenty of space for 3 generations to spread out. Host was wonderful and extremely helpful including providing recommendations for nearby running paths. Highly recommend this family retreat.

Beautiful home, perfect location!

Our two families, including 4 adults and 4 young children, had a fabulous stay in this absolutely beautiful home! The living spaces, kitchen, and deck/outdoor area were perfect for everyone to hang out together after long days of sightseeing around the county. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and spread out around the house, so we all felt like we had our own private little retreats. Every room was very clean and nicely decorated. The location of the home is perfect, just a short drive from the shopping/restaurants/sights of downtown Sister Bay and Ellison Bay. It is situated within a quiet little wooded area, which made it peaceful for lounging outside during the day and by the outdoor fireplace at night. It is just a short drive to Ellison Bay Bluff and to a wonderful little beach for viewing the sunset (a must while you’re there!). Thanks for being great host, Ed! We would love to stay in your beautiful home again for our next family trip to Door County!
