Relax on the Bay — Kayaks, Hot Tub & Firepit Nights

Looking for a vacation home that has it all? Look no further. There’s something magical about Paddler on the Bay. Imagine waking up in the morning stepping out onto your deck to watch the sunrise over the bay and gaze at the crystal clear water right below your feet, hearing the sounds of nature, and smelling the lush green forest. You can’t get anymore waterfront than here at Paddler on the Bay. Walk 10 steps to the dock to launch the supplied kayaks (June-September), or cast a line to watch in anticipation for that bobber to go down. Or watch the fire in the sky in the hot tub as the sun sets over the bay. If water isn’t your jam, play a game of bags in the backyard, enjoy a campfire at the fire pit, or ride your bikes (e-bikes also available for additional fee) less than a mile to explore the town or take a 5 minute car ride into Sister Bay to be in the middle of the action. Endless opportunities await you here at one of the most ideal locations in Door County. Memories WILL be made here.

Please note - there are exterior surveillance cameras located around the property recording 24/7 (front yard, garage, front door, and rear deck). While we want to ensure you have a wonderful experience, we have better things to do than spend our time spying on our guests - the cameras are more for safety and liability reasons.

Everything was exceptional!!! The decor, the kitchen, how well stocked everything was, all the little extras like the incidentals in the baskets in the bathrooms in case you forgot something. It was all perfection! Loved the Hot tub and the views. Loved sitting by the fire! Great coffee in the morning fully stocked.

We stayed Paddler on the Bay for 4 nights and it was terrific. The house is very nicely appointed and very well stocked. The managers were very organized and communicated very clearly...and quickly if we had any questions. The house has a great view of the bay. It's a 5 star house!

Everything at Paddler on the Bay was impeccable! From the spaciousness and cleanliness to the well-equipped kitchen and small “in case you forgot” incidentals, it had everything we needed! The place itself was amazing from its lake view with hot tub on the deck to its beautifully decorated and super comfortable rooms! I would recommend Paddler on the Bay to anyone who is looking for the perfect getaway!

The paddler on the bay is a beautiful lakefront home, clearly designed to make guests feel right at home. Thoughtful amenities like kayaking and ping pong made our stay even better. The view from the deck is stunning.

Puddler Bay Cottage was a perfect spot for our friends summer weekend together. We founs ourselves using the Kayaks all weekend weather it be for fishing, to get better views of the Bay or paddle to the nearest sandy beach. There was more then enough room for 8 adults. Kayla was easy to get ahold of and checked in to make sure we didnt need anything during our stay. I would book with them again the next time I venture to Door County

This was our 2nd visit to Door County and this time we brought our friends and stayed at this beautiful, quiet, and well appointed cottage. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had and have really thought of just about everything to make your stay comfortable. We tried to take advantage of everything this rental had to offer… kayaks, bikes, games, coffee, plenty of space, clean and organized kitchen, etc. It was a great place to make our home for the week!

Fantastic property

Everything was as expected and the property is beautiful. This part of Ellison Bay is perfect for tranquil paddle boarding and kayaking. Highly recommend.

Fabulous fishing weekend!

Five star stay! We stayed for 3 nights and 3 days of fishing and fun. Our boys kayaked twice a day in between fishing trips all over the peninsula, ending each day in the hot tub. We got to enjoy the fire pit one s’mores filled evening too. Super clean, warm and welcoming lake house accommodated the needs of our whole party. We would definitely recommend and rent here again : )

Heavenly lakeside escape

We headed up to Door County from Milwaukee to celebrate Easter,and absolutely loved the property right on the water. It was clean, updated, welcoming, and inviting. Perfect for our teens. Even during the off season. We took great advantage of the s'mores and coffee bar, the outdoor and indoor fireplace,hot tub and board games. We watched movies, ate breakfast at Al Johnson's and shopped at our favorite shop,Beach People for locally made goat milk soap. I've never stayed at a VRBO in the last 25 years that was stocked so perfectly and so organized and well done. Thank you Michael and Kayla!and Kayla fope. We wills definitely stay here again.

Spring break trip

We have had a lot of stays through VRBO, this was by far the best house. It was very clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed and the lake view hot tub was great. Quiet time of year, but still had some restaurants and wineries open. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Girls Weekend!

Paddler on the Bay is an awesome vacation home in Ellison Bay, right on the water! We enjoyed the location, cozy atmosphere and amenities. The hosts were extremely friendly and reached out a few times to make sure everything was just perfect - it truly was!

Highly Recommend

The property was so perfect for a family getaway. This time we stayed as adult sisters and mom getaway but I'm really hoping to come back with my kids next time. The location is incredible and the home is perfectly suited for all groups. 10/10 recommend!

This is a beautiful home with a fantastic view. Very clean and updated. Wish we had more time to enjoy all that the hosts had to offer. They were very communicative and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying at Paddler's Bay!
