This lodge felt like a bait and switch. The pictures show a lovely lodge with a common room, a nice bedroom. It almost makes it feel like it's personalized to you. What we fail to realize is that when you show up at the shared lodge, it feels more like a hostel. The bedrooms that they advertise aren't necessarily the bedrooms that you're getting.
We stayed in the basement with a closet full of air conditioners and a bed that was on a 15% incline. We messaged the staff twice and they ignored us, and there was no stove in the common room for food.
Granted we took this Lodge because it was 5 minutes away from Holiday Valley and that's the only thing good I could say about this. That and the coffee in the morning.
I would not be giving such a poor rating if it wasn't for the cost. I feel like supply and demand were at play here and that management has taken their customers for granted.
There is no value in this lodge. Simply a bed.
