Ballarat has lots to offer and it means we don't hit Melbourne at the end of a long day travelling to face peak hour traffic. "

"Amazing hotel with the best customer service ever! We were here for a wedding weekend and they helped us with early check ins and late check outs plus cutlery/plates for the bridal suite. Fantastic French restaurant downstairs. Just bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper due to nearby train tracks. Would stay here again "

"It looks like the host lives in the house every day, other than when she has a booking. Her personal stuff and clutter is everywhere in the house. Sofas in lounge was covered with stuff, like a dinner tray left out, clothing, bags of old stuff. Clothing A-frame was in the house. Sheets on the washing line outside. Stained rugs. Vomit patch. "Myself, my daughter and her two friends all had a wonderful stay for two nights. Beds are super comfortable and the heating kept us toasty on cold days and nights. We appreciated all the little attentions to detail and the gorgeous decor. The house is simply stunning. Lots of rooms to spread out in. Thanks for a wonderful short stay. "

"We had an excellent stay. The property is beautifully kept, extremely well resourced and is literally across the road from Sovereign Hill. The Host was very quick to respond, and made sure we had every thing we needed for a very comfortable stay. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Ella."

Great games room for kids and adults alike. Loved the long dining table and many cupboards in the kitchen). I made the mistake of leaving a cupboard full of our food and shopping bags (after our stay ended) and the hosts were excellent at communication and even sent our items...
