"Parking good. Staff excellent team both at hotel and wedding venue at Doxford Barnes. Hot tub not open. Too cold Excellent place to stay. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal we had excellent. Service good. Only down side. Checkout 10am. Most hotels check out 11. Felt rushed this morning "

"Great for an overnight stay. All the staff were polite & friendly. The food we had, both dinner & breakfast was tasty and the dining area was pleasant. Our room was clean & comfortable. The only issue was with our shower. There was very little water pressure and felt like you were hugging the wall to get under a trickle of water to get clean. It was just enough to wash under, but I was pleased I didn’t need to wash my hair and try to rinse out the suds. It would have taken an age."

"This was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and always had time for a chat. The room was spotless and newly refurbished. Comfortable bed. Plenty of tea and coffee etc which with toilet rolls was replenished daily, as we're the towels. The bed was made up daily and the room cleaned. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. Plenty of other items too such a yogurt, cereal, toast etc. Great setting and next to local amenities and 25 mins from the coast. "

"Superb location and venue. Delightful pub with top cask ale and the food was sublime. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were highly friendly and attentive. The only negative was the electric shower which was very temperamental and low pressure. A real treat though overall."

"Excellent Pet-friendly hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were perfectly clean and acceptable, the little fridge for fresh milk was a bonus as those plastic cartons are awful. The food was absolutely wonderful on the evening meal, lovely and fresh and pleasantly presented. Breakfast, there was so much choice other than Full English which was a pleasant surprise. All in all everything was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed...

"2 night stay , parking was perfect , the room was a very generous double … huge bed , and in like a motel type set up . So despite being on a road was not noisy . Perfect to explored Holy Island Donna one of staff was a 5star herself , nothing was too much trouble , and we were welcomed and well looked after -thanks "

"Lovely place. My 70th birthday with my family including children & babies. It was perfect for everyone. Nice area, muddy walk into the woods. 5 minutes into Morpeth which was looking lovely with Christmas lights"
