    Step outside and you’re moments from colourful Victoria Street (often compared to the real-life Diagon Alley), with some of Edinburgh’s best-known Harry Potter sights, independent shops, cafés and centuries of history all around you.

    From the property, you can even catch a glimpse of Edinburgh Castle rising above the Old Town rooftops.

    The Royal Mile, Grassmarket, Greyfriars Kirkyard and Edinburgh Castle are all just a very short walk away, making this an incredible base for exploring the city on foot.

Wow! I thought that the streetscape represented in the pictures ..the views from the windows..could not be this amazing..but they were even more magnificent than depicted !! We felt like we were looking onto a breathtaking movie set..at one moment transported back in time…in awe of the incredible architecture and unique rooftop silhouettes…next moment marvelling at the bustling activity below…right outside our door. We were so thrilled that someone was willing to share this very special..yes..I agree with the description..”magical” street corner.. with us. Every window looked onto this wonderful, vibrant, predominantly pedestrian street that was full of energy!..restaurants, cafes, shops..all a step away..and the Harry Potter Museum well-situated right across the lane.Communication was very smooth as was the check-in. Pictures on site were all accurate though in real time the apartment was even better than anticipated..which is always welcomed. We had a hiccup with the space while there and Marco was over within a half hour to rectify. We wished to stay longer but the space was unfortunately not available. Am looking now to head back and stay on the return leg of our trip…not available…we will definitely come back another time as 5 days just scratched the surface…so much to explore.. even just within the neighbourhood.Would highly recommend restaurant across street : “Whirlybird”..excellent for several dinners we enjoyed there.. and across and down..cafe:”La Barantine”.
