"Situated in a perfect position near to the centre of town, Very modern with staff that are always happy to help and smiling all of the time, they must really love their jobs. Beds are so comfy you just slip into sleep, plenty of choice for breakfast. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would definitely come back."

"The fact that dinner and breakfasts were available on site if you required them. The room I was allocated was quite large - a plus! The staff were helpful and pleasant. Noisy doors opening and closing was a disruption.. Complimentary biscuits would have been nice! "

"The Boathouse is on the river and next to the Grosvenor Park with is very pretty and a nice area to walk through to get to the city centre. We watched a rowing club practise right from our table at dinner. The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and accommodating. "We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

"The hotel was in a good location - it had car parking, but was also within walking distance of the city centre. The room was a good size, with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable, although the room was perhaps a little hot for my liking, with no obvious way to regulate the temperate apart from opening the window and putting up with traffic noise. In the bathroom, the water was lovely and hot and the shower nice and powerful. The breakfast was reasonable for us as vegetarians. "
