"Classic older hotel. Centrally located with quick access from the highway. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Lots of free hotel parking in rear. Property is undergoing renovations in preparation for new ownership but we didn't notice. Huge room. Double shower heads were bonus. Forgot an item in the lobby and staff ran out to the parking lot to hand it to us. Will stay again."

"One of the worst stays! A/c was not working while the room temp was 86 degrees. It was terrible to sleep thru the night on such a hot room. Room windows are not operable so was stuck in that 120 sq.ft. stuffy room. Restaurant was not open the two days we stayed here so no food available either. Bathroom floor were sticky, hair in the tub surface and carpet was extremely dirtly. If you have an option, try to find a different place. "

"Though the resort was beautiful and clean, things we wish we were told at check in; the $10 a day credit, activity list, the service side of the do not disturb door sign (would think house keeping would be automatic unless not requested) $30 resort fee plus taxes each day!!!! Things that could be improved; free coffee/tea/hot chocolate all day, a continental breakfast. Housing keeping making sure to replace cups and coffee, and leaving only one cookie?!?!"

"Our family stayed here to attend a college graduation nearby. The lake view and vibe were both amazing and peaceful. We were greeted by our hosts, they were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything , my sons enjoyed the canoe and paddle boards provided too. The 2nd night, the entire area lost power, we lost water too, that put a damper on the trip.."

"My room nightstand was cover with maple syrup and coffee!!! The coffee stain was huge, how could it be missed! The clock had caked on dust so thick you couldn’t read the time. The lamp base on this nightstand had many long hairs on it! The bathtub drain didn’t work so you stood in your own dirty water! Who knows when the last time was that the bathroom floor was mopped… many stains. I had to get disinfectant from front desk to clean room and bathroom."

"Room was a touch warm on the 2nd floor, there is no AC from what I’m told, we visited in April, so luckily the outside temps were moderate at best. I would be unbearable in the summer without AC. Room was extremely clean and owners were very accomadating. Breakfast was fantastic, I’d stay again, just not in the summer"
