Charming traditional Cape Cod style vacation home in Eastham, only 5 mins drive to either ocean side or the bay.
You will find everything you need to have a relaxing time in this beautiful beach town, surrounded by ponds, lakes, forests and beaches.
Kitchen is fully equipped, separate dining area, outside deck for relaxing on the sun, 2 smart TVs with most popular streaming services, beach chairs and towels, parking for 3 cars.
Very comfortable queen and king beds in the upstairs bedrooms, and electric queen bed downstairs bedroom with attached porch.
House is surrounded by trees and conveniently located close to many restaurants and famous Cape Cod attractions (like Eastham Tourist Visitors Center, that will take you on a magical walk through beech forest)

Kitchen was good. We did have to bring our own Kurig coffee maker .Otherwise it was fine .Tv was a challenge since we could not get any basic channels for the news. Overall we had a good time. The owner was very accommodating since we had to extent our stay because of the weather. Andre is very pleasent and helpful. Would recommend this rental.

The location is great in terms of proximity to bay and ocean beaches. The host was very responsive when we had questions. Bedrooms were all a good size. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped for cooking. It was super convenient to have linens (eg, sheets, towels) provided and they were of good quality.The house is on a main road, so there was noise from passing cars. We left the windows closed most of the time to dampen the sound.

The place is spacious, convenient, and the host is responsive. However, the amenities (e.g., towels) could be cleaner, and the house is located on the main road, which made it difficult for a few of us to sleep well at night because of car sounds.

Renter, beware! Why anyone would go to Cape Cod is beyond me. I have rented beach houses in several other states, and in all of those instances, paying for a rental house comes with a beach pass, or essentially some guaranteed access to a beach. This house comes with none of that. Even after the high price for this house, you don’t get guaranteed access at any beach, bayside or oceanside. We were not able to actually get onto any beach because they are all so crowded. People sit in their cars in line outside of beaches and wait, sometimes for hours, until a spot opens up in a parking lot. That doesn’t sound at all like a vacation to me. The house itself is in the front yard of another house, so if you stay here, prepare to be surveilled the entire time. That lovely back deck on the house? Don’t buy it- you’ll be about 15 feet away from another house the entire time. Nearly all of the outlets in the house are only two-prong, so good luck with any modern devices. And although the house is extremely close to a pond, you aren’t able to actually sit on the dock. Get that! You can kayak in it, but can’t sit near it. The house is on a major highway which is totally unsafe to walk along. The road does have a sidewalk but it’s on the other side of the street so it’s inaccessible. Don’t waste your money here, go anywhere else in New England or the mid-Atlantic. If for some reason you absolutely must go to Cape Cod, spend your money somewhere else.

Summer Vacation

Very comfortable, clean, well stocked kitchen nice neighbors. Enjoyed beaches and visiting ponds and Newcomb Hollow in Wellfleet. Plenty of choices for eating out and grocery stores are close. We ate in a lot and enjoyed the property.

July 4th Weekend

Great stay! Loved the location and the house! The only thing we were unprepared for was the aggressiveness of the mosquitoes due to the proximity of the lake to the house, so providing bug spray or candles to ward off the mosquitoes would have helped. Outside of the mosquitoes, we had a fantastic stay and would return for another stay! :)

Perfect Eastham getaway!

Beautiful and roomy cape located so conveniently to great beaches and restaurants! The house has a very comfortable family room with lots of seating! Kitchen has everything you need, well equipped! Loads of charm, spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. Very clean. So great to be able to bring the pets along! Host is very responsive and helpful!

It was fine

Overall I would rate this as a “fine/ok” stay. The location of the house is directly off the main road and hard to find. The turn for the house is hidden by trees with no markings at the driveway. The house is also situated in what feels like the front lawn of another house. No privacy and we felt watched the entire time. We had trouble with fire alarms going off in the middle of the first night but was told by the owner they would take care of it after our stay and we could take it down. We also saw more bugs inside the house than I was comfortable with. Some are expected, but this many needs professional help. The kitchen was fine but could use more amenities like large cups, pitcher for drinks, storage containers for leftovers. The house also didn’t have a welcome book with information like when garbage is picked up. Tips on how to use the showers. Favorite restaurants or fun places to visit etc.

Our group of 4 had an incredible time. The house could easily accommodate additional people. The beds and bathrooms were great, as were the kitchen supplies and seating in the dining room and living room. The location was perfect as a starting point for walks and bike rides and was and was an easy 5 min drive to two wonderful ocean-side beaches!

End of Summer Getaway
