"Everything about this hotel was stellar. The room, gardens, restaurant, staff, and location were absolutely outstanding. I absolutely plan to return. Not a negative, but to be informative, I am 6’3”, and most historic structures were designed for much shorter people. That said, I only had to duck my head a couple of times. It will not impact in any way my decision to return. Couldn’t have been happier. "

"Brilliant hotel, well thought throughout, unfortunately wasn’t any parking onsite due to being full, but 5 mins away plenty of space, only negative ordered nachos (was expecting homemade) not the crisps.. other then that bang on will be back for sure! Photo was view from my room! "

"We received a very warm welcome and an upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary. Lovely large room which was very comfortable and extremely clean. Swimming pool was a bonus. The restaurant is very good. The staff are all fantastic. I would recommend this hotel. "

"Lite äldre stil på rummen, men rent och fräscht. Nyrustat badrum. Jättetrevligt läge och bra med fri parkering. Väldigt varm på rummet då det var ca 30 grader ute, ingen ca, men fläkt fanns som hjälpte lite. Trevligt att radion med musik var på när vi kom in i rummet. Rymligt med dubbelsäng, skrivbord och soffa. Otroligt centralt läge med mysig uteplats."

"I have stayed at this resort many times and it always serves me well. Set in beautiful grounds on a lovely golf course with splendor of wildlife, landscape and flora, even the hardest to please couldn't crack a frown at this retreat. The building is charmed in character, the staff at utmost professional and efficient, the spa, pool and gym facilities are second to none. As for the rooms, they are spacious, nicely decorated and furnished to high standards with full AC and blacked out curtains,...

"Hotel is in a beautiful setting. Just off the busy A6 but you wouldn’t believe it. Lovely gardens, every member of staff friendly, polite and looking to help you. Clearly training staff is key here. Room lovely, spacious and relaxing. "
