"If you are a golfer playin Troon, there could not be a mote lovely, refined but casual and convenient property. The star is incredibly kind and thoughtful and the lovely views of the see and the course make for a calm, bucolic, experience. Food and drinks were lovely as well."

"We had a great stay at our daughters wedding all the family in one large villa but still felt part of the hotel. Cars come and take you up to the hotel whenever you wish. Or the grounds are beautiful to walk up to the hotel. All the staff we met were amazing"

"Location is ideal, and spending day/night was from a good base. Staff are friendly and although we dined in the town at night, the breakfast quality suggested that an evrning meal here would have been nice. The use of leisure facilities aided to the relaxation."

"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. "We enjoyed a relaxing one night stay. We were in room 7 and the bathroom was very small. However we would still return to the hotel. The gardens were superb. We had a drink in the bar and an evening meal plus breakfast. Both dinner and breakfast were very good."
