"We came to the area to explore Indiana Dunes national and state parks, and this hotel is very conveniently located. (It is also very near the Dune Park train station, which we used to hop on the South Shore Line to Chicago one morning to visit the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum. "I stayed for 2 nights. I saw mixed reviews and was hesitant but was it was a good place to stay. Wasn’t the cleanest since there was some spots but wasn’t dirty either. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience for my first hotel book. Some reviews said the air conditioning was messed up but it stayed freezing cold how I like it and was amazing. Overall it’s a good place to stay for the price and I would book there again. I wasn’t sure why there was many bad reviews about the place...

"I never thought office is closed every Sunday, when we arrived I tried to call the number posted on the door to know how could we check in but no answer. Its good that I saw the housekeepers and they have enveloped about my booking details; however the room was not ready yet, she asked me to wait about 45 min. Otherwise, our night of stay was good, reasonable price but needs some maintenance work in room 209 for the hair blower , toilet flush and window."

"First the hotel was clean our room needed to be more clean so we requested it to be cleaned with new sheets and bedding, the stuff was extra nice when asked for our room to be cleaned again because the cleaning stuff didn’t it do a great job and I did speak to the manager and they took care it of right away, the breakfast was okay not great they ran out of food and only one person was working with the breakfast she did bring out more food tho but not great options tho , would like to see more...

"The check in was awful. Tried to check in at 3pm, as listed. After 20 minutes of waiting, he said it would be ready at 4pm. We came back around 5pm. After another 20 minutes, he handed me a key card. No real communication, just awful all the way around. Not very clean. My son found a spoon next to the bed on the floor. Would not recommend"
