"This Best Western hotel, though a bit older, is worth a stay for others. The desk clerk made us feel welcomed. Our family of four had a standard room with the usual hotel amenities. The room was clean and had a cozy nook where we could step outside to enjoy the water and the geese. The hotel is conveniently located near the Indiana Dunes Welcome Center, making it an ideal spot for visitors. If we return, this is definitely where we’d stay again."

"We reserved 2 nights. I looked at the room before paying for it. I did not look at the bedding that was turned down and the linen was misty smelling and to find the coverlets were very dirty on he top edges that you pull up. I told one of the cleaning ladies about it and she told me she would tell the cleaning lady for the first floor when she arrived. "Stayed one night of our road trip. Had a balcony room. The balcony was full of spiderwebs and not well maintained. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Gave four stars because of the balcony."

"Overall pretty great place to stay. The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast I’ve had. They also have a decent fitness area which I appreciated and used. The room was clean and perfect temp when we walked in. Big tv and easy to use. The only issue we seemed to notice was the tub. We only showered but the center of our tub was so concaved it was very difficult to shower. Also like no water pressure. Idk if it was just our specific room or what. Besides that great place to stay."

Anyone can come join you while you walk down the creepy halls that have pulled-up carpet (don’t worry- they left the carpet padding to cushion your trek) . Overhead lights in common spaces? -Ha! "Under renovation. No pool, gym, or breakfast. Didn't know prior to booking. Halls were a mess from renovation."

"You get what you pay for . No daily cleaning room service . Not even taking the trash out ( we had to do it ourselves for several days )! Broken shower head ! They had to replace the mini fridge since it was broken . And they charged my card 1 extra time for deposit ( they said it didn’t go through ) and I have made 100 calls so far for return . Will never stay here again"

"A pretty interesting stay. Expedia said check in was at 3, but when we arrived, a clearly posted sign said check in was 4. There was no one in the lobby and I had to press a button to ring for them. The man at the counter was nice enough, but he needed to go check to make sure our room was cleaned. We waited close to 10 minutes in the lobby before he returned. "We returned from supper and front desk clerk did not even look up from her phone. A yellow bucket, full of dirty mop, water and a dirty mop was right at the front desk Our Shower had mildew growing along the edge Breakfast buffet might’ve been OK if it had been refilled. We asked if there were any more boiled eggs and we received a sigh and the attendant went back to get some more."
