"This is a refurbished building in the Market District. The front desk staff are outstanding and we really appreciated the laundry available for no charge in the basement. We found the rooms very spacious but lighting was somewhat dim for my liking. Clean and tidy with the kitchen having all we required. The area was vibrant if a bit loud due to bars nearby. I'll visit again when we get back this way."

"Such a great location, right smack in between the bus station to the north and central train station to the south. Lovely comfortable rooms with strong air conditioning. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping needs improvement though, and the toiletries too."

"Good location for walking around, lots of shops and eating options. Downside to being in a busy area was a little noisy at night. Overall though very nice and we’d stay there again."

"Check in was a complete nightmare, hotel front desk was in a different building then advertised Front desk was no help unless u beg them to help. Never would I recommend this place Stay away. Room is dirty , hotel is in a dirty part of town. "

"Beautifully equipped apartment, very spacious and clean. I stayed on the top floor (80 steps) and it was very quiet in spite of being a stone's throw from Queen Street station. "

"We loved this flat. Beautiful view from large windows, nice to have the windows open for fresh air. The living room area was spacious and leads to kitchen, this was our gathering space for night caps. The beds were so comfortable as well. Central location to walk to most places, or grab an uber. Downstairs were many restaurants and near by grocery store that were convenient. I highly recommend this place especially for a large group of travelers. "

"VR Apartments are very well located in Southside Glasgow. My wife and I were over for her to have a surgery and short recovery, 5 day stay. We found the flat to be quite small, we are both quite tall people so would likely not book again based on this alone. The flat would suit someone of a shorter height or individual booking better. The hosts are incredibly responsive via text message, they were accomodating of an early check in for us which was greatly appreciated. There was a security mishap...

"Person who rented out the apartment ignored my calls, texts & emails which meant we had no access to apartment even though it was paid for. My wife & me were left stranded in the freezing cold in Glasgow & had to book a hotel. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people, would avoid at all costs."

"I requested for more toilet paper and they instead gave me more soap, I tried to reach out asking for toilet paper. The rest of my stay there was no toilet paper."

"Cleanliness in the apartment was top notch but the entrance from the door through the staircase was not pleasant. The stairs should be rugged atleast, to give it good first impression. The shower wasn't working or we couldn't get through with turning it on, so we had to be fetching water from kitchen each time we wanted to shower. We also couldn't access the wifi. "Large group of us stayed here for a friend’s stag do and we all had a brilliant time. The villa was nice with plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable, the garden was massive and the hot tub was amazing. The location was also spot on with loads of places to eat and drink in the town centre. There was also the option of going into Glasgow as the train station was only a short walk from the villa.
