With one private bedroom as well as an enclosed loft, Camp Can’t Keep Up is the perfect cabin for a romantic retreat, family vacation, or sportsman’s outing. Whether you are sitting one of the back porch swings listening to the water of Hicks Run, enjoying a dinner cooked over the fire, or warming yourself by the wood burning stove, Camp Can’t Keep Up offers a beautiful, rustic escape.

Enjoy amenities that include a full kitchen complete with a full-sized refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, electric range and oven; one and a half baths, a washer and dryer, central air conditioning and heat, as well as satellite TV and unlimited local and long distance calling.

Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing for trout in Hicks Run, watching wildlife at the Hicks Run viewing area, or hunt, hike, or mountain bike on the state game lands surrounding the property. We were very cozy in this cabin. Kitchen was well appointed and clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. The queen bed was comfortable. The small stream at the edge of the property was very nice. Definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Not a good trip cabin is fine if after the second year they would have got something done about the insects that hd my guests bit up and could not sleep upstairs.And the when i mentioned it to Brywhat a disappointment an the host his comment was fell free to stay somewhere else's

Awesome place to get away for a few days!! Only issue was there were no sheets, blankets, pillows or towels in the rental. I double checked the listing and didn’t see anything that said we needed to bring our own or pay extra to have them. Thankfully we were able to get what we needed from the property owner. Once we had everything it was a great stay. No elk at the property but did see a bull while driving. Would recommend staying here as long as you know to bring your own stuff .

The cabin was located in a quiet area. A nice distance between the next properties. With water running in the stream at the back of the property. Very peaceful and tranquil getaway with family.

Over all last great place. When we arrived the owner had said she just shampooed the carpets and the house had a not so pleasant smell. The water also had a strong sulfur smell.

Loved the location and quaintness of the cabin!It had everything we needed except tea towel, dish cloth, laundry detergent that was supposed to be included. We wish we would’ve brought a cookie sheet/cake pan as the ones there were rusty and unusable. We loved the decor of the place, the swings on porch and the fire pit. We did leave our leftover wood we brought for the next guests. Definitely would stay again but bring along a few essentials that were missing .

Relaxing

Have stayed at this rental in the past and loved it so much we brought our family with us this time. Very relaxing sitting on the porch swings listening to the creek in the back yard. Will be back.

Had a bad experience

Unfortunately we found bed bugs, after it was too late. Very sickening experience. Owners were responsive to the issue, but I feel they lacked due diligence prior to our stay. Ended up with a significant amount of very irritated bites. I hope they can get it adequately and quickly addressed. This is a nice location and kids loved the swings. There is a nice elk herd and bull nearby. We frequently visit the area every year, but this was our first stay at this location, wish I could have had all good things to say…

Shed hunt

I have stayed at Camp Can’t Keep Up twice now, and have enjoyed each stay. This year, the hot water heater quit working during our stay. I contacted the owners before going out for the day. By the time we returned they had already been there and installed a new water heater. Very good people to work with. Unfortunately we didn’t find any sheds. But there is always next year!

Cabin beautiful, well equipped. Creek wonderful. Elk visited and filled yard. Great hike on Pine tree trail just down road. Need to be sure to bring supplies - long way to stores.
