"Fantastic value for money. Brand new motel. Stayed 3 times there for business. Super helpful staff."

"Very nice stay. Lovely big comfy bed. Clean and spacious room with good facilities. Staff very friendly. Only comment was that when we asked how to get the rugby on the tv channel, they weren't able to help and said to go over to the pub, which we did and saw it there, but maybe something that could be checked."

"Overall we had a good stay at the motel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Most parts of the experience were smooth and enjoyable. The only major issue was the airport shuttle service. We paid $15 to book the 6am shuttle to the airport, but it never arrived. We waited until 6:30am with no communication or update from the motel. In the end, we had to book an Uber ourselves for a very similar price just to make our flight. What was most disappointing...

"I had a very comfortable stay. The room had everything I needed. I was mindful of the bar/restaurant opening hours, so planned accordingly with earplugs to account for noise levels. I would happily stay here again."

"Unfortunatley you get what you pay for. Only plus this accommodation is within easy walking distance to Wolf brook Arena. Staff were helpful as parking was a bit of an issue. Fridge was filthy , jug greasy and fingerprints all over it and the shower was pathetic no pressure at all, we had to screw the head off and use it like a tap to wash soap off, bench in bedroom has left over rubbish sitting on it. Honestly glad we were only staying the one night."

"The room was clean and well-equipped, with a jetted bathtub in the bathroom. When I asked about laundry facilities, the young woman in the office offered to do our laundry, washing and drying, for $10 per load. She did a great job on the laundry, completing the task very quickly. We found Amalfi Motor Lodge to be a quiet and comfortable place to stay."

"We stayed overnight at Birches Motel as we had an early international flight out the next morning. The motel is in the middle of Reno’s and upgrading the rooms but we found our room to be perfect! Clean and comfortable which was just what we needed. Would happily stay there again! The shuttle picked us up at the airport which was great. No shuttle in the morning as we left at 5am but that was fine. Overall great overnight stay😊"

"First time staying here and would definitely recommend it. Room was really clean and quiet and bed and pillows comfy. Easy walk to Westfield Riccarton and the university. If I’m needing to stay in Riccarton again I’ll be staying here."
