"The room looked nice, but there was a lamp missing in the ceiling and the water in the sink didn't drain well. Cleaning could have been a little bit better. The room was supposed to be soundproof, but the music from the restaurant was very noticeable until midnight. Breakfast was nice, but you get served a meal, so you can't choose what you want and the amount may not work for everyone."

"The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The room was dark and lacked small additions ie a mirror in the room. The mirror in the bathroom misted up and was unable to dry my hair in it. The check in process was not easy. The keycards were unable to register, but we were emailed a link to open the doors digitally. The air conditioning was complicated to use with no guides to help. We had a balcony which was lovely to look at the water outside and the windmills, but...

"Looks quirky on the outside which is such a cool feature. Nice and modern inside. Used the gym every morning to set myself up for the day. Staff really friendly and approachable. Didn’t locate dining options other than fast food and the hotel. They provided tourist attraction information which lacked ticket prices and operating times. "

"The family room was a great size with 4 single beds and plenty of storage space. The free onsite parking was very helpful (and the underground parking useful on the first evening when there was a big match at the football ground nearby). It wasn’t entirely clear from our Expedia booking that our rate was room only, so I was a little surprised to need to pay for breakfast on our first morning - this was very tasty but quite pricy!"

"A quick 20 minute train ride from Amsterdam Centraal and a quick 10 minute walk to and from the Zaandam train station from the hotel. Good are with lots of places to eat, shop, and enjoy the scenery. The bed in the hotel was awesome and the room had everything I could need. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you guys for a great stay!"

"Geen normale receptie alles per computer 5 minuten wachten op een medewerker en toen ging het ook niet goed met sleutel maken. Geen bar meer en geen restaurant voor avond eten. Het is heel onpersoonlijk geworden. Ben er vaak geweest toen het er nog wel was, toen konden ze mij zelfs bij naam "

"Staff were friendly. The room was basic but comfortable. It is within two minutes walking distance from zaandam station, which has regular trains into the centre (€3.50) and direct to the airport (€7) im sure there are passes you can buy that are would make this cheaper but I was fine with the price. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and would again on my next trip to the Netherlands:)"
