We had an executive suite that was spacious for two and had wrap around windows for great views of downtown Halifax. Would highly recommend"

"Be aware of the room you are choosing. We stayed in Aft Castle room 6. The online pictures show living areas, kitchens etc but we had one very small room and small bathroom, with no additional living areas, not representative of the photos. If you have mobility issues, this is not your room, as it is three floor walk up. As well, there is very limited parking on site, with overflow parking one block away."

"The location of this hotel is excellent. It's right on the boardwalk with easy access to all of the restaurants, shops and tours available at the Halifax waterfront. Check in and housekeeping were fine. The common areas could use attention - a little more vacuuming, window cleaning, a second working elevator. The restaurant food was good."

"Location was perfect for walking distance to everywhere! Staff was friendly, main lobby was beautiful and happy hour on the terrace was a nice touch. The rooms are standard, nothing exceptional but clean! Water pressure was amazing in the shower but slow drain in the sink. Overall, I would stay again!"
