"Clean rooms and great views in Lindberg Bay. Older hotel. No restaurant but does have a nice bar and pool. VERY close to airport so can just walk there if you don't have much luggage which is the main reason we stayed there since we just got off a 10 day sailing vacation. "

"The airport shuffle was very easy to find. Staff was on top of things and the kitchen had everything you needed right there. However, the shower was clean when I got there and there was hair in the shower from other guest prior to my stay. The water wasn’t very hot and yellow. But overall good stay. "

"The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! "

"Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

"I recently stayed at Emerald Beach Resort and wanted to share feedback about my experience, specifically regarding the restaurant and pool service.
While the location itself is beautiful, the service was extremely disappointing. Each time I visited the restaurant or bar, it took 10–15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me. This happened consistently, not just once. What made the situation more frustrating is that a service charge/tip is already included, yet the level of service did not...

The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening.
Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful!
