"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"Spacious and well-designed 1 br apartment. Great for tourist or business stay. Lovely staff. Parked right in front. Lovely roof-top space. Walkable to center and to a number of good nearby restaurants and cafes. Modern and efficient. "

"Very nice and clean hotel! Reception was closed but I got very detailed instructions before arrival on how to retreive my key and find the room. I was also gifted sweets and wine. I loved that the fridge was bigger than usual hotel fridges/minibar. I also got the breakfast, which was served at a nearby café, and I got my breakfast served at the table. Very cozy place and everything was tasty! Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Nos encantó este hotel sobre todo por la playa y el desayuno está buenísimo, está al lado del aeropuerto eso puede molestar un poco pero dentro de la habitación casi no se siente el ruido. El hotel es bello y el personal es muy amable."

"Wir hatten einen grandiosen Aufenthalt im Sentido Unique Blue! Wir hatten ein Swim Up Zimmer gebucht aber wurden dann mit einer Cicada Suite als Upgrade überrascht! Wir hatten dann eine eigene Villa direkt am Strand, mit großem eigenen Pool, einem eigenen Gym im Keller und zur Begrüßung gab es einen Sekt, Früchte und Co. Es fehlte uns an nichts! "From a warm greeting, to a personalized orientation of our room, to providing guidance with restaurants and sights, Mary C was amazing! Great communication prior to trip as well. Location was perfect for us - we took KTEL bus from Chania to Heraklion; hotel was ~3 mins walk from bus station and about 10 mins down-hill walk to SeaJets fast ferry terminal. So perfect location.
