"Overall I had a pleasant stay here at Capital Suites Yellowknife. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The only issue I found was they do indeed need to soundproof the walls as you can hear a lot of noise from other nextdoor rooms/put in the hallway. However when I stayed I never had an issue when sleeping at night. Yes, there are some interesting characters that hang around but I found them all over Yellowknife, not just at this hotel. "The property was ok. The room only appeared to have floor heat which took forever to heat up the room. My room was so loud, with kids running in the hall every night and the lobby blasting piano music 24/7. I never received any housekeeping. And I was downgraded when I check in from a one bedroom to a studio room. The location was great and walkable. And the hotel pays for the taxi too and from the airport which was convenient. Other than that, there were no additional amenities on the property....
