"There is a hidden cleaning fee (Expedia stated 5000 ISK but there is a sheet in person that corresponds to 100 euros or 14000 ISK) that they will charge if you don't dust the furniture, mop the floors, and strip the beds, which I thought was completely unrealistic to expect from guests. "Our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the kitchen had salt, pepper, oil, and two bottles of wine. Instructions are provided to guide you through usage of the hot pool and radiant floor heating. We were in house 2, which had a fire pit as well. For those who want to grill, we noticed a propane grill in the utility room on our last day. This was an exceptional stay with a great view and very responsive host. If we can come back, we will."
