"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available.
The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). There...

"La experiencia ha sido mala. Desde que llegamos, no sabían nada de nuestra reserva. La habitación (sin vistas al río) huele mal debido a que el baño da al cauce del río que en esa parte está estancado. El trato del personal deja mucho que desear ya que las gestiones que les pedimos (reservar un mini bus) no las hicieron y luego pusieron muchas excusas. La zona está un poco apartada de los servicios."

"Absolutely loved this hotel. Was amazing staying in one of the floating rooms on the river and the scenery was so beautiful. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend renting a car as it is about an hour outside of Kanchanaburi city so having your own transport gives you more flexibility "
