"Liked having washer and dryer but no complimentary detergent."

"Beautiful view and very cozy. We loved hanging out in the living room or on the porch. Parking was a little tight. Fit one car easily, but the second car was a bit tight. One note - none of the bedrooms really have doors. We didn't have any issues with it, but something to note if folks were looking for more privacy.Lizzie was great and responded to questions quickly and clearly. What a lovely area to stay in!"

"The entire hotel stinks we couldn’t sleep with the odor to cigarette bathroom smelling like pee poor cleaning all over, I can’t even stay in the lobby smell was just terrible i think is a good hotel just need a better cleaning price was also very fair"

"The hotel had no record of my reservation for July 25, 2026 booked through Expedia when I arrived. The new owner told me by phone from another location that the hotel was fully booked and had an ownership change. My companion and I were left high and dry with no place to stay in Bennington. I had to reject an offer of accommodation in Rutland 50 miles away. Expedia and new owner, please take responsibility for this lapse."

"It was very clean, very very cute, you don’t have direct view of the lake from the porch but there’s a super cute little pond and the lake is a ten second walk from the cabin. If you’re worried about the AC don’t be, it works incredibly well and never gave us any issues!"

"What a delightful little cottage! Windows on all sides let the sun and stars in and the weather out. We were welcomed by grazing cows and saw a spectacular firefly show at dusk. The perfect escape from the modern world."
