"THE MOST UNSAFE PROPERTY I COULDNT EVEN LEAVE MY VEHICLE. I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes frantically testing to find another place to book. Extremely shady people wandering around the parking lot, a woman yelling outside one of the windows on the side of building, a homeless woman coming up to my drivers side window. "This is an old-fashioned motel - one floor with parking right in front of your door. We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. The rooms were basic and clean; the bed was comfortable. The price seemed a bit high for what it was, but that may well be because of high demand near Skaneateles on a Saturday night in August. "This hotel was super convenient for walking around Skaneateles. The place was recently remodeled and is very nice. There were lots of free snacks and drinks in our room (including instant oatmeal for a quick breakfast). That was great. The front desk person (Christine?) Was very helpful including coming to our room to reboot the TV. My only complaint was that there was quite a bit of mold in the shower and it needed some Tilex or Chlorox. Otherwise, great place to stay in Skaneateles!"
