"Where do I begin, first they they were doing maintenance on the carrousel bar(which was the whole reason we booked this hotel). So we didn’t get to enjoy it, which would’ve been fine had they let you know there was nothing on their website saying the bar would be down. Second there’s nowhere to park your car, you have to use valet, and they charge $50 a day for valet. Which again while I think that’s high, fine if the service was good. I bailed my car twice while I was there, first time I wanted...

"Only downside I could think of was the laundry room didn’t have or sell soap for the washing machine and the grits one day was good, next one was blah. Otherwise great place to stay"

"The room was clean. The staff was nice but due to the codes and this being in the historic area, there is no elevator. If you are younger and travel light, this is no issue. I am older and pulled my heavy suitcase up the stairs. They really need to have a helpful bell man in these cases."

"The staff from the car attendant to the registration clerk to the housekeeping staff were outstanding. They were very personable and accommodating and efficient. I would not hesitate to stay there again"

"The location was the best, perfect. The hotel is two converted old houses with separate rooms and stairways in all different directions; no elevator, but it gives you that New Orleans feeling. Some rooms have balconies, others have galleries, and others are interior rooms without windows. Make sure to get the room that fits you best ahead of time. The manager and the staff are super nice and accommodating."
