"The house needs maintenance work as well as cleaning. The freezer was filthy when we arrived. One of the sliding glass door handles was broken. The outside deck as well as the boat dock both need major repairs. (The day we arrived, the owner did message not to get on the dock due to needed repairs.) The ice maker did not work; we sent a message about that to the owner but received no reply. The morning after the first night, there were dozens of bugs in the downstairs bathroom. "If you’re driving the Trace, this is a must stay. We left Natchez at 9AM and arrived here at 3PM check-in time. This is one of the top places we have ever rented.This is an exceptional property. Their attention to detail is amazing. The grounds are rustic looking with plenty of spots to relax and have a beverage, grill a steak and enjoy nature.
