"Nice, clean location right near the water in Rio. Was very nice opening the window and seeing the beautiful scenery. Lots of stairs to reach the room. By the photos on booking site, I expected a small balcony but our room did not have one. Parking was a plus (additional fee) but was a bit of a walk (mostly uphill) to reach accommodations which was challenging in the August heat with luggage. They do offer an optional service to transport luggage which we wish we purchased in hindsight. ...

"This guesthouse was not what we expected upon arrival. Barely any amenities provided. There is a charge for towel service daily, if not paid, it will be every 3rd day. This is very minimal considering how hot and humid the area is, and that many people come wanting to swim, therefore the need for more towels. Adding on, there was no mention in the listing that this was for a fee, as it stated this was by request. Although this is not part of the hotel stay itself, prepare to have a long journey...
