"Blue Bahia is a cozy place to stay. Rooms/condos are rustic but rural beach suitable. Management communication is excellent and aims to please. Housekeeping & maintenance do an excellent job. Ii would say this is off the beaten track abd is ideal for people who are adventuresome and prefer to avoid the big all inclusives and the clutter of touristy shops. The on site restaurant had good service, really nice service staff, and good food. Do try the soursop iced tea - it is not on the menu, so ask...

"Oscar and Denis (sp?) were very sweet and welcoming! Place was very close to the beach and safe. It was high up enough to see the beach but not a real water view - I did not mind! The owners were good about not overusing water but the room had a clean filtered water to drink. The water is hard there so there was some buildup on faucets, utensils, etc.. A/C worked great! Bed was comfy :) The pool was lovely! The kitchen could have used a few updates in terms of cutlery and such - it was comfy...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Al and Sandra's. The beach and house are so peaceful and the snorkeling is great. We took the kayak out multiple times and snorkeled the reef for hours. It's easy to grab a taxi from the main road and venure into West End or West Bay. Al and Sandra were so helpful, especially when our flights were rebooked due to storms in Dallas and we didnt arrive until a day later than expected. Al was still able to pick us up and let us grocery shop on the way to the house so...
